RECRUITMENT DRIVE GATHERS PACE
Following the signings of Brendan Richards, Thair Khan and Adam Friar, the club is delighted to welcome Darren Tymms to the club. Darren has joined from St Helens and brings a wealth of experience to the club. Darren is good for 500 runs a season and a similar amount of beers!
In further news, Paul Hughes has announced his intention to play again in the 2012 season. Paul intends to start in the 2nd team and force his way into the 1st XI with a sheer volume of runs that Newcs wont be able to ignore!
The recruitment hasn't finished yet which can only be good news for all 3 teams as we seek to build on the success of last season.

Work on The Square
Will commence this and every Wednesday. A great opportunity to learn about the work needed to produce a cricket wicket under the expert guidance of Geoff Smoult and Ian Lucas. All help greatly appreciated. Pop down and put a little bit back into our great club.

WINTER NETS

Junior nets start at Birkdale High School on Friday 6th January.
7pm for Under 13's and the girls
8pm for Under 15's and Under 18's
