Junior members Code of Conduct


·          Play because you enjoy cricket and not to please, your parents, Team Manager or coaching staff.

·        Respect the rights of each and every person, and treat equally within the context of the sport

 

·        Appreciate the importance of striving to win, not winning itself.

 

·        Adhere to all guidelines laid down by the Club's Constitution, this Code of Conduct and the rules of the English Cricket Board.

 

·        Accept responsibility for your own behaviour and performance. Never argue with an umpire or other match official.

 

·        As ambassadors of Ainsdale Junior Cricket Club, you should always display high standards of behaviour

 

·        Develop and build a working relationship with your manager and coaching staff. Ask them exactly what is expected of you, and what you can expect back in return.

 

·        Adhere to the positive aspects of cricket, and never condone violations of the laws of the game, behaviour contrary to the spirit of the laws of the game or relevant rules, or the use of prohibited substances or techniques
